Established in 2015, Solisti di sud has been described as an ‘exceptional’ ensemble ‘of the highest level’, with a ‘strong and highly individual voice’. All members of group are profesional musicians and Proffesors at Universities and Conservatories. Their adventurous programming and virtuoso performances display extraordinary aproach to an individual concept of music interpretation. They perform Piazzolla music and colourful combination of classical masterpieces and music with original arrangements. First recording that thay made, get them on first place on Naciolal radio in Serbia in serial of “Classical music please”. Soon thay got invitations from Europe and very positive critics. Sergey Osokin was born on October 6th, 1981 in Kolomna, Russia.
Was a student of Schnittke's State Music Institute in Moscow (professor Andrey Ledenev) and the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow in the class of distinguished Russian concert artist and professor, Friedrich Lips. Sergey Osokin - accordion player, participated in numerous international accordion competitions in Klingenthal (Germany), Arrasate (Spain), Castelfidardo (Italy), Cherepovez (Russia) and Astana, (Kazakhstan), achieving the status of laureate first prize and grand-prix.
Participating in international festivals in Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Spain, Slovakia, Serbia, Lithuania, Latvia, Kazakhstan, China, North Korea, the United States, France, Italy.
He is currently an active concert artist, frequently serves as an adjudicator at international competitions.
Since 2006 he has been a teacher at the Schnittke's Moscow State Institute of Music.
